Job Title: Payroll Administrator (Apprenticeship)

Salary: £15,000 - £18,000

Location: Next to Lower Sydenham Station, SE26 5BN

About us:

We are a small accountancy practice based on the borders of Beckenham. The closest main line station is Lower Sydenham.

Role and Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join our team and assist the payroll manager. 

Appropriate training/courses will be provided. No previous payroll experience is required just a can do attitude.

The main responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in setting up and processing payrolls with HMRC and appropriate pension providers as and when required
  • Corresponding with clients and advising of liabilities
  • Dealing with telephone calls to HMRC 
  • Invoicing and payroll admin
  • Maintaining payroll filing systems

Key Requirements: 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Smart appearance
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organise, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to take on new tasks.
  • Full time position.
  • 100% office based
